Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement and Eligibility

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Open Sign Design website and any order you place with NYW LED Solutions Inc, doing business as Open Sign Design ("Open Sign Design," "we," "us"), online or in our store. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you order for a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business.

2. Orders, Pricing, Taxes and Payment

  • Order confirmation. An order is accepted when we confirm it and receive payment. We may decline or cancel any order, for example for pricing errors, suspected fraud, or content we will not print (Section 8). If we cancel a paid order, we refund the amount paid.
  • Pricing. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are calculated from the size, material and options you select. Online prices assume you supply print-ready artwork. In-store prices may differ because they include consultation and design assistance.
  • Errors. If a price or product description is clearly wrong, we will contact you before production to correct it or cancel the order.
  • Taxes. Sales tax is added where required. Tax-exempt customers must provide a valid exemption certificate before the order is invoiced.
  • Payment. Online orders are paid by card through our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers. In-store orders are due as agreed on your invoice, and production may wait until payment or a deposit is received.

3. Artwork and Customer Content

  • Online orders require artwork. You must upload print-ready artwork before an online order can be placed. We print the file as submitted.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for spelling, content, layout, size, resolution and color settings in your file. Please check everything before you order. Low-resolution images, missing fonts or incorrect dimensions may affect print quality, and are not a defect in our work.
  • In-store and design help. For in-store orders, we may accept an order before artwork is final and help with design. We will not start production until the artwork is received and you approve it.
  • Your rights. You confirm that you own or have permission to use all text, images, logos and trademarks in your artwork, and that printing it does not violate anyone's rights or any law.

4. Production, Turnaround and Color

  • Turnaround. Production times (for example, "24 Hours Production") start after your order is paid and your artwork is received and approved. They are estimates, not guarantees, and do not include shipping time. Large orders, weekends, holidays and equipment issues may extend them.
  • Color. Colors on screens differ from printed colors, and colors can vary slightly between materials and print runs. Small color differences are not a defect. If exact color matching matters, ask about color matching before you order.
  • Sizes. Finished sizes may vary slightly due to cutting and material tolerances.

5. Pickup, Shipping and Risk of Loss

  • Pickup. We will notify you when your order is ready for pickup at 568 Broad Ave, Ridgefield, NJ 07657. Please bring your order number. Orders not picked up within 30 days may be discarded without refund.
  • Shipping. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Delivery dates depend on the carrier and are not guaranteed.
  • Risk of loss. Risk of loss passes to you when you pick up the order or when we hand it to the carrier. Please inspect your order on receipt. If a package arrives damaged, keep the packaging and contact us within the period in Section 6.

6. Cancellations, Returns and Reprints

  • Cancellations. You may cancel for a full refund before production starts. Once production starts, the order cannot be cancelled. If we agree to stop work at your request, we may charge for work already done and materials used.
  • Custom products. Every order is made to your specifications, so we do not accept returns or give refunds for change of mind, errors in your artwork, or wrong sizes or options you selected.
  • Our mistakes. If your order has a defect caused by us (for example, a printing or cutting error, the wrong material, or damage in shipping), contact us within 7 days of receiving it with your order number and photos. We will reprint the affected items or, if a reprint is not possible, refund the price of those items. This is your remedy for defective products.

7. Accounts, Store Credit and Referral Codes

  • Accounts. Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for orders placed through your account. Guest checkout is available, and we keep guest order records to fulfill and support your order.
  • Store credit. Store credit can be used only for purchases from Open Sign Design, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash except where required by law.
  • Referral and promo codes. Codes are subject to the conditions shown when issued, cannot be combined unless stated, and may be withdrawn for misuse.

8. Intellectual Property and Prohibited Content

  • Your content. You keep ownership of your artwork. You give us permission to use it only to produce, deliver and support your order.
  • Our content. The website, its design, templates and text belong to Open Sign Design and may not be copied without permission.
  • Content we will not print. We may refuse any order containing content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, is hateful or threatening, or that we reasonably consider inappropriate.
  • Indemnity. You agree to cover our reasonable costs and liability if a claim is made against us because of content you supplied.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Except as stated in Section 6, products and the website are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost profits or missed events, caused by delays or defects. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

10. General Terms and Contact

  • Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Disputes will be handled in the state courts located in Bergen County, New Jersey.
  • Privacy. Our use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which will be linked here when published.
  • Changes. We may update these Terms. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.
  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
